The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in driving the growth of ABEC Limited’s Managed Services business by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities. Acting as the first point of contact for lower-touch, dormant, and prospective accounts, the SDR is responsible for proactive outreach, relationship building, and identifying customer needs.

The Role:

Working closely with Account Managers, the SDR ensures a consistent pipeline of qualified meetings and opportunities, enabling the wider sales team to focus on closing business and expanding key accounts. This role is critical in maintaining engagement across the customer base, supporting targeted sales initiatives, and contributing to the overall success of the Managed Services sales strategy.

What the role entails:

1. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and sequences to engage existing and prospective customers.

2. Warm up and nurture lower‑touch, dormant, and developing accounts to create new opportunities.

3. Qualify leads using a structured framework and schedule meetings for Account Managers.

4. Maintain an active cadence across assigned accounts to ensure consistent coverage.

5. Keep CRM records accurate and up to date following every interaction.

6. Support targeted sales campaigns, events, and initiatives.

7. Collaborate closely with Account Managers to hand over (qualified) meetings and insights.

8. Support the preparation of PQQs (Pre-Qualification Questionnaires) and tender submissions by gathering information, coordinating inputs, and ensuring timely completion
