Opportunity for a Medical Negligence NQ or junior Associate join a market-leading Medical Negligence practice in Leeds.

They are known for handling some of the most complex and high-value cases in the sector, such as brain and spinal damage.


The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an NQ or junior Associate to join the firm's market-leading medical negligence team based in Leeds.


The department specialises in life-changing medical negligence cases, with a particular focus on brain and spinal cord injuries, amputation, and birth injury claims. The team is committed to achieving outstanding results and making a real difference to the lives of clients and their families.


As an Associate in this team, you will:


  • Work closely with senior lawyers on complex, high-value medical negligence litigation
  • Represent clients with serious injuries, requiring strong interpersonal and empathetic communication skills
  • Instruct experts and counsel, prepare statements and bundles, and manage litigation proceedings
  • Contribute to the department’s knowledge sharing, business development, and client care initiatives

Requirements

  • NQ - 2 PQE Solicitor specialising in Medical Negligence
  • For NQ's, you must have completed a seat in Medical Negligence and have a genuine interest in specialising in the field
  • Compassionate client approach
  • Experienced gained at a reputable practice within Medical Negligence
