Job Title: Specialist Pharmacist - EPMA & Medical/Surgical Band: Band 7 Location: Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) Contract Type: Locum (Direct Engagement) Framework: RM6281 - Lot 3 Start Date: ASAP End Date: March 2026 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (core hours TBC) Parking: No on-site parking for standard hours - public transport encouraged Accommodation: May be available - contact Role Overview: We are seeking a Band 7 Specialist Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, with a 50/50 split between delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services in a defined medical/surgical area and supporting the development and optimisation of the JAC Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system. This is a dynamic, practitioner-level role requiring both clinical and digital expertise. The post holder will play a key part in patient care, EPMA development, policy work, education, and audit. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Pharmacy: Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to a designated medical/surgical ward. Actively participate in ward rounds, MDT meetings, and patient care discussions. Develop specialist knowledge within a clinical area to support safe, evidence-based medicine use.
