400M+ downloads. 75M+ monthly users. A decade of building – and we’re still accelerating.

Flo is the world’s #1 health app on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 – and we’re not slowing down.

With 6M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store’s health category, we’ve spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we’re building the next generation of digital health – AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed – to help our users know their body better.

The job

Medical and scientific credibility is the foundation. It’s the core of who and what Flo is.

As a group, these teams engage the medical experts on our medical board (120+ and counting!), establish research partnerships (Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and others), help developers design our intuitive AI tools, check our medical accuracy, and drive medical credibility across the whole platform.

We divide our Medical Advisors into two groups: the User Centric team and the Health team.

The User Centric team are content centric, providing a close watch over everything going out to the end user, and advising the wider business - especially product and marketing teams - on what good looks like when it comes to embedding medical credibility and accuracy in our features and materials, and on what a clinician says a good user journey should be.

Our health team looks after the predictive powers of Flo, working hand in glove with product, engineers and data science to offer a truly powerful predictive experience to the millions of people who trust Flo with their health and wellbeing.

This role sits in the User Centric team. We're looking for a fully qualified doctor with experience in women’s health, marketing and health tech to join our team.

You’ll work alongside seven highly experienced and supportive colleagues, all experts in health-tech and passionate about improving women’s health.

This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to promoting Flo in a medically accurate and credible way, to millions of women. Our team is collaborative and always happy to share knowledge, making it a great role for someone ready to make a real impact in this field.

You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
