- Part-time (0.4 FTE or 2 X 0.2 FTE considered) appointment on a fixed term basis until December 2026.
- Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
- Rural and remote allowance applies for those living in the immediate area
- Clinical loading may be applicable
About the area
The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA) was established in 2002 to help deliver better health outcomes for people living in country WA.
Our visionfor the future is to build on our successes and foster an exceptional locally trained, research-driven, collegiate, academic and clinical community, providing equitable healthcare to rural and remote WA.
The RCSWA helps rural communities sustain a locally trained and loyal medical workforce by placing penultimate and final year medical students across a network of 15 sites. Students gain valuable hands-on experience and professional mentoring throughout the 12-month program.
About the opportunity
- Collaborate with the Academic Lead to coordinate RCSWA's assessment program across its network of rural and remote sites
- Maintain assessment quality, supporting Medical Coordinators in assessment delivery, and ensuring alignment with RCSWA's unique distributed learning environment.
About you
- Experience in health professional education assessment and related activities, including the development of resources for collaborators and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of digital learning technology and assessment platforms.
- Effective organisational, communication and negotiation skills with multiple and diverse stakeholders including School Committees, academic staff and students.
- Experience in rural/remote medical education is desirable.
- Familiarity with RCSWA longitudinal assessment strategy is desirable.
