Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (New 4-Bed Service)

The Opportunity

We are working with a growing children’s care provider to appoint a Registered Manager for a brand-new 4-bed home in Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first Registered Manager role, or an existing Manager seeking a fresh challenge.

You will play a key role in opening, shaping, and leading the service from day one, with support from an experienced Responsible Individual and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Ofsted registration process

• Oversee the setup and opening of the home

• Recruit, develop, and manage the staff team

• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations

• Promote positive outcomes for young people

• Work towards achieving a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating

Requirements

• Experience as a Deputy Manager (or above) in a children’s home

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

• Level 5 (or working towards)

• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations

• Full UK driving licence
