Job Title: Medical Signatory Business PartnerJob Location: Bracknell, UKJob Location Type: HybridJob Contract Type: Full-timeJob Seniority Level: Mid-Senior levelTHE POSITIONWe are now hiring a Medical Signatory Business Partner for our UK & Ireland Human Pharma organisation. This specialist role ensures compliant medical review and certification of promotional and non‑promotional materials in line with ABPI/IPHA Codes, internal SOPs, and UK/IE regulations. A key focus of the role is strong cross‑functional collaboration — providing expert Code, medical and ethical guidance to Franchise and wider business teams, supporting effective planning, decision‑making and execution of compliant activities across the UK & Ireland organisation.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesMedical Review & CertificationDeliver timely, high‑quality medical review and certification of promotional and non‑promotional materials in line with ABPI/IPHA Codes, UK/IE law and BI SOPs.Provide clear, pragmatic and Code‑aligned guidance to enable effective campaigns, projects and external engagement.Code Governance & Expert GuidanceApply expert therapeutic and Code of Practice knowledge to support compliant communication and partnership activities.Advise project owners from concept to execution, including innovative cross‑Franchise initiatives.Identify and elevate risks related to timelines, processes or Code interpretation.Training, Education & Knowledge SharingDeliver Code‑related training to internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Market Access, Global teams).Create and update guidance materials to support day‑to‑day Code‑compliant decision‑making.Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, Code updates and Code Case precedents.Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork closely with Franchise, Medical Affairs, Partnerships, Market Access, Government Affairs, Customer Excellence, Global Medicine, Clinical and Regulatory teams.Provide input into ICD cases and Code complaints, escalating when required.Support efficient, aligned ways of working between global stakeholders and local teams.Compliance, Ethics & GovernanceUphold BI’s high ethical, legal and compliance standards.Ensure all activities align with Legal, Compliance and Medical policies as well as UK/IE regulations.Promote a culture of integrity, ethical behaviour and continuous compliance improvement.RequirementsEducationRegistered medical practitioner (GMC registered) orPharmacist registered in the UK,Qualified Medical Signatory notified to PMCPA and/or MHRA.For GMC‑registered physicians: active licence to practise and ongoing revalidation (as applicable).Skills & ExperienceExperience as a qualified Medical Signatory with proven application of ABPI and IPHA Codes.Strong ability to identify, understand and manage Code‑related risks and complex problems across diverse teams.Excellent communication, collaboration, networking and influencing skills.Strong project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.Good understanding of therapy areas, trial data, analytics and healthcare developments in UK & Ireland.Proven experience working in a fast‑paced, complex environment, quickly assimilating scientific and medical information.Team‑oriented approach and ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships.Experience supporting complaints (ICD/PMCPA) and providing expert Code advice.Demonstrated capability to act as a business partner and trusted advisor.Strong commitment to compliance, ethics and integrity.WHY THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO WORKBoehringer Ingelheim is recognised as a Top Employer in the UK, reflecting our commitment to outstanding workplace standards, employee wellbeing and continuous development.
