Medical Sector Manager | Warwick
Our client’s medical and scientific sector team is currently experiencing exceptional growth, driven by a surge in exciting long-term project opportunities.
You will collaborate with a team of outstanding professionals to shape and execute our marketing strategy for the medical and scientific sector. This role includes presenting to prospective clients, developing comprehensive cost proposals, and building lasting relationships with key strategic partners. You’ll be responsible for planning and managing a diverse portfolio of innovative and technically complex medical product development projects, often within tight timelines and budget constraints, while also serving as the technical lead on these initiatives.
Key Skills and Experience:
+Extensive experience in delivering successful medical product development projects within the ISO 13485 quality framework.
+Preferably experienced in a consultancy setting, where you have balanced quality, cost, time, and risk to meet project objectives.
+Strong capability in planning, scoping, and managing the financial and commercial elements of medical product development projects, while also leading the technical execution. This includes team selection and coordination, budget and timeline management, and close collaboration with the client’s project team.
+Proven ability to lead, support, and review the work of a multi-disciplinary project team, ensuring high standards and alignment with project goals.
What you need:
+A First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Design Engineering from a university with a strong engineering pedigree, or an equivalent technical qualification.
+Proven experience in medical product design or development, applying Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and computational methods to create innovative medical and scientific solutions, using a broad range of manufacturing processes and materials.
+Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact outcomes across a variety of medical development projects.
+A solid track record in managing multi-disciplinary medical projects, including effective client engagement and relationship management.
