Base pay range

Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a rapidly expanding healthcare brand specialising in UK-manufactured prescription products, already approved on NHS frameworks. With a strong reputation for quality and cost efficiency, they are now looking for a driven and knowledgeable Field Sales Representative to increase uptake across the Midlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with key NHS stakeholders including GPs, ICBs, PCNs, pharmacists and ophthalmologists. You'll be tasked with promoting a portfolio of market-ready products, demonstrating clinical and cost benefits to healthcare professionals and driving measurable growth in prescribing activity.

Their ideal candidate will have prior experience within pharmaceutical or NHS field sales and be confident navigating the healthcare landscape.

This position is initially being offered on a six-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of extension or becoming permanent based on performance. The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible impact within a growing business and expand their long-term career prospects in the healthcare sector.

For the position, they are offering a competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum, with mileage allowance and performance bonuses to be agreed.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of healthcare professionals across your assigned region
• Present product benefits to medical decision-makers, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and streamlining treatment options
• Engage with clinics, healthcare groups, and medical networks to support product uptake and awareness
• Schedule and deliver product briefings, educational sessions, and follow-up discussions with stakeholders
• Provide field-based insights and feedback to contribute to wider commercial planning and strategy
• Represent the business at healthcare-related events and exhibitions to promote offerings and build brand presence

Skills and Experience

• Proven background in field-based sales, ideally within the medical, health, or clinical sector
• Understanding of healthcare systems, including the influence of local and regional commissioning bodies
• Comfortable working remotely and autonomously while managing multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to engage clinical and non-clinical audiences
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the assigned territory
