About
Medical Device Engineer We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer for a global leading manufacturer. This role will be covering the UK with some travel to neighbouring countries. Duties and Responsibilities * Onsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical equipment * Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications or upgrades in certain time frames. * Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level. * Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area. Essential Experience * Three years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred. * Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment. * Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Desirable Experience * Bachelor’s degree, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology * Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight.
