The Medical Workforce Team of the People & Culture Directorate are looking for a highly motivated Systems Adviser to join our busy but supportive team.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for HR/People professionals or a data analyst to develop knowledge of medical staffing on a fixed term or secondment basis.

Main duties of the job

As a member of our team, you will utilise various medical workforce systems to ensure staff data is accurate and provide reports to support effective management decision making and workforce planning.

The role will involve you in operating the following workforce systems:

Relevant experience in the use of rota software for planning, scheduling and maintaining staff rosters is essential. Experience and knowledge of other systems listed above would be an advantage.

Through a consultancy style of working, with both the medical workforce team and with service managers / clinical directors, you will provide advice and respond to requests and queries about medical workforce data.

This role gives the opportunity for hybrid working and you will typically be asked to work in a hybrid way, working from your home and also from Trust HQ The Uffculme Centre, or any other agreed site.

As part of the selection process you may be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, however all cases of criminal record history are dealt with on a case by case basis.

Please note, if applicable for your role you will be required to cover the cost of your DBS certificate. This will be deducted from your salary over 3 months. You will also be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service before commencement with the Trust. The Trust will reimburse this. You will be contractually obliged to maintain your subscription.

All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust’s induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) by the end of your second week with us.
