Trainee Builder
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Join PH Jones as a sub-contractor in our expert Team in Rochdale and surrounding areas.
You will be performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including patching up, installing flues, boxing in boilers, plastering, and more.

Scope of works
General building and maintenance work
Removal and reinstatement of boxing around boilers and flues
Removal and reinstatement of cupboards & air cupboards
Creating Access for pipework in walls, floors and cupboards
Removal of decommissioned gas fires, brick up, opening and skim
Making good in and around flues and air vents etc. Basic brickwork/plastering
General carpentry i.e., lifting floorboards.
Reinforce walls for radiator hanging
What we need from you
Desirable to hold a CSCS/CSCS alliance red card (trainee & experienced) OR green card (Labourer)
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Preferred
Experience of Central Heating Installations
Good communication skills both written and verbally
Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
Must have a bulk headed van and any other PH Jones required compliance related documents. This will include an Upper Tier Waste Carriers Licence
