Job Description
- Set and execute a production strategy for the UK Corporate Healthcare business, focusing on Medical Indemnity
- Achieve an annual new business target of £250,000
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new client accounts
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and manage relationships with prospects
- Drive business development and negotiate effectively to meet production goals
- Manage relationships with decision-makers, demonstrating strategic leadership to develop prospects and inform servicing requirements
- Oversee and maintain Salesforce records for tracking and reporting new business prospects and successes
- Implement targeted communication plans for prospects
- Guide the Account Executive on fee agreements and account servicing
- Interact with business leadership to ensure the client experience aligns with company standards
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in healthcare or medical insurance sectors, especially medical indemnity or malpractice
- Goal-oriented with consistent progress monitoring
- Disciplined prospecting habits, doing it daily
- Strategic mindset with thought leadership capabilities
- Balanced approach to acquiring new clients and managing existing accounts, assertive yet client-focused
- Extensive knowledge of local, industry, and marketplace specifics with excellent product knowledge
- Ability to build and maintain diverse relationships for business opportunities and referrals
- Broad insurance class knowledge with expertise in relevant areas
- Understanding of commercial business challenges, opportunities, and financial reporting
- Ability to develop strategic directions based on deep client and sector insights
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Professional negotiation and persuasion skills to meet objectives and maximize value
