Our experienced medical negligence solicitors take the time to understand what clients are going through, helping them get the answers and compensation they deserve.Our clinical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims including but not limited to obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology and psychiatric care.Role and Responsibilities: You’ll be joining a highly respected leader in our Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ranked Bristol Clinical Negligence team. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in managing complex clinical negligence cases and supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives.Leading the management of a complex and high-value caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on securing early interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation and care needs early in the process.Providing expert input and oversight on claims involving a broad spectrum of medical disciplines, including obstetrics, neurosurgery, oncology, and psychiatric care, ensuring clinical and legal precision.Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality service.About You: We’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with genuine empathy:Experienced in Clinical Negligence, with a well-established track record in claimant work.Experienced in managing complex, litigated cases independently.Passionate about securing justice and improving clients’ quality of life.Skilled in delivering empathetic, clear, and confident legal advice.Commercially minded, with experience in business development and client relationship management.Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Our Benefits: What We Can Offer You25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays.Generous and flexible pension schemes.Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid)Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services.We also offer a wide range of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace.Irwin Mitchell LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
