Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
- Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications
- Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
- Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
- Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
- Perform MOVA Validations on complex junctions and roundabouts
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking to progress to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on existing solutions in Traffic Signal Design.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
- Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
- Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
- Knowledge of LinSig 3
- Full UK Driving Licence
