Lead Project Manager (London Area)

Working for an international property development company, this Project Lead role is pivotal to the successful launch and delivery of the organisation’s first UK-based project.
Salary : £90,000 – £110,000 basic + benefits ( company car/travel allowance, private medical insurance )
Location : London – Office and Site based as required by the project.
The company has completed the design and secured planning permission for a four-storey development, building high-end residential units.
The Project Manager Lead will manage the residential development, with the planning permission in the place, the land is ready to go live. This role is at the start of the project, joining to support the site set up, working with the MD for Europe in setting up the UK business.
The back office function and supporting functions (Technical, Procurement, HR, IT, Commercial) are all based in the European HQ. Once the first project has started on site, provisions will be made in anticipation for a further 4x sites under acquisition, with designs currently going through the Planning process. These sites are looking to go live in 2026 and again based inside the M25.
This role would be ideal for someone working for a smaller developer, who knows what it's like to set up a residential development, who wears multiple hats in a lean organisation, so you know what it’s like to be at the start of setting up a new office and project.
Setting up a new project team and sub-contractors to deliver a 4-story, high-end residential development in London.
Managing the Technical, Commercial and Operations for the project in conjunction with the internal business divisions.
Managing the Programme of works with support from the internal Planning team
This role needs someone one site, driving the programme, managing the various stakeholders and being a visible leader 5 days a week.
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning processes, and construction standards.
