Key Account Manager - UK

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Handle customer interactions via calls, emails, and online chats, supporting the wider team.
• Process orders, quotes, and other customer requests efficiently.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Address and resolve customer issues promptly, providing tailored solutions.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and expand account growth
• Collaborating with the sales team to maximise profit by up-selling or cross-selling
• Represent the business at trade shows where needed
• Conduct audits and business reviews during visits to key customers as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a sales-focused role.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems proactively.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Sage platforms (desirable).
• Comfortable working with CRM systems (training provided)
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
• Within commutable distance to our Pocklington Head Office
