IAM Ops Manager - £90,000 per annum - Finance

We’re seeking an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) Specialist to join a leading trading firm in the heart of London. The company does require someone to be in the office three days per week and is aiming to interview this week!

As the IAM Ops Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and overseeing access management frameworks that align with best practices and regulatory requirements. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on capability, with a focus on compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and incident response. The reason for this is that the team is brand new and will be growing with this role as the lead so someone who is dymanic and knows how to build divisions is helpful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement IAM strategies and frameworks aligned to industry standards
• Manage user provisioning and access rights, ensuring secure and timely access
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO27001, GDPR, SOX, and NIST
• Lead assessments and governance of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, security, and risk teams
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and access reports
• Respond effectively to access-related incidents and breaches

Your Background & Experience

• Proven track record in IAM or PAM leadership or SME roles
• Broad understanding of IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD), MFA, and RBAC frameworks
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO27001, SOX (strongly preferred), and NIST
• Hands-on experience delivering IAM solutions end-to-end—from planning through to deployment and monitoring
