We have a great opportunity for Host/Hostess to join us in Sky Lounge, Shangri-La The Shards champagne bar located on the 34th floor of the iconic Shard building. We are looking for a candidate who can complement the Shangri-La brands informal, warm, and genuine service style to deliver true hospitality from the heart; someone who will thrive by engaging with our guests and creating memorable, stand-out experiences for them. You will play a key role not just In Sky Lounge, but as part of Shangri-La as well- and therefore be committed to our values and beliefs. You will maintain the high standard of luxury our hotel represents with your charm, time management skills, and organizational skills- by liaising with guests and maintaining cleanliness and organization of yourself and any supplies, work, and guest areas. This role uniquely follows a 3 day per week shift pattern, with 3 days in service from Friday to Sunday. This makes the role ideal for a candidate with full weekend availability, as you are generally working 40 hours per week over these days, with the flexibility of an additional 2 days off per week- as you will have met the requirement of contractual hours over those 3 days. On occasion, we may require an additional day which will always be communicated in advance.
