Defect Analyst

Job Description
A Defect Analyst's primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of software by identifying, documenting, and resolving defects. They work closely with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to improve software quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defect Identification and Documentation: Thoroughly identify, document, and track defects in software applications.
- Test Case Development and Execution: Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Defect Analysis and Prioritization: Analyze defect severity, impact, and recurrence to determine prioritization and strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating the information to developers and other stakeholders.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that defect fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
